The fifth of September, 2011: fish bazaar and international cargo solutions

I saw this while bussing through my north-east Leeds stamping grounds this morning. A new shop had opened. It sold, I think, mobile phones (although shopkeepers in the area in question have a fiercely eclectic entrepreneurial vision – they’re Renaissance retailers, if you like – and their shops tend not to fall into straightforward categories: two doors up is a shop bearing the name Fish Bazaar and International Cargo Solutions).

In any case, the shop had the following slogan or strapline:

Meet Your Expectations And Spend A Little

It may be a mis-translation. I don’t care. This is exactly what I want to do in a shop. Every shop in the world should promise the same.
