The eighteenth of January, 2011: Klettermaxe and the Brooklyn Tarzan

There’s something very joyous about this clip. It features two stuntmen from the Old Days: first (the spaghetti eater) John Campia (1922-1994), the ‘Brooklyn Tarzan’, and then (from 0.54) Arnim Dahl (1922-1998), star of such German cinema classics as Klettermaxe (‘Climb-crazy Kid’) (1952) and Der Schatten des Herrn Monitor (‘The Shadow of Lord Monitor’) (1950).

Great song, too, though I can’t find out what it is. The footage is from a US documentary called Gizmo (1977).
